How You Can Detox Your Body After a Night Out
Last night might have been the best party of the year. You’re feeling on top of the world, and all you want to do is share your good time with everyone.
But then you wake up the following morning, feeling like death warmed over. Your head feels foggy, your stomach is in knots, and you can’t stop yawning. All you can remember is having a good time drinking some wine or cocktail, and smoking vape which had your favourite vape juice. So, what now?
Is there anything that can help detoxify your body after a night out? Yes, there is! Here are some tips for how to detox after a night out so that you feel better sooner rather than later:
Drink a Lot of Water
By drinking a lot of water, you can rehydrate your body after a night of drinking. Dehydration can lead to headaches and fatigue in the daytime, so you must drink at least eight glasses of water for your body to begin to feel healthy again.
In addition, drinking water will help your body rid itself of toxins and chemicals responsible for you feeling sick earlier in the day, like alcohol and caffeine found in energy drinks.
Have Eggs for Breakfast
Eggs are a great source of protein that will help you feel full and satisfied. Eggs also contain choline, which is an essential nutrient for liver health. Vitamin B in eggs helps the body metabolize toxins, while Vitamin C cleanses your system by increasing iron absorption.
In addition, egg yolks have high omega-three fatty acids, which improve cell membrane fluidity and fight inflammation.
Sleep In
You should always get at least eight hours of sleep because you need to give your body time to heal and rejuvenate. But, of course, it is best if you can do this every night. Still, it’s okay if that doesn’t happen very often.
For instance, on a busy Saturday or Sunday evening when you went out for the entire day and end up staying awake until the early morning hours. If that happens, try to make sure you still get extra rest during other parts of the week so that things even out in terms of how much sleep you are getting each night.
Get Some Fresh Air
The best way to detox your body after a night out is by getting some fresh air. This is because your body metabolizes alcohol through breathing, so getting a breath of fresh air can help speed up the process and get rid of that nasty morning-after feeling before it becomes too much.
Hit the Gym
If you’ve had a night out and want to detox your body, the best thing you can do is hit the gym. There are many beneficial effects of exercise after drinking alcohol, which will help rid toxins from your system.
Exercise also helps reduce stress levels that may have been exacerbated by binge drinking or excessive partying.
After a night out, do not go to bed straight away. You can either take a nap or stay up for longer and read a book. Before going to sleep, ensure you drink enough water because the toxins will flush themselves from your body when you are sleeping if it is hydrated enough. Also, avoid fatty foods before going to sleep as they are hard to digest.
