Everybody is going to die. That sounds like a very blunt statement to make, but it is just a fact. Sometimes you’ll wake up and the sky will be blue, but they’ll still be a sky, which is also a fact. When you die, your loved ones will need to manage the emotional stress of your loss while also facing the challenge of making funeral arrangements with your wishes in mind.
The problem is that when you’re dead, you can’t tell them what your wishes are, so it can be helpful to plan your own funeral. Planning your own funeral can actually be quite the gift to your friends and family, but there are so many things that you have to consider before you march over to the funeral directors and start putting a plan in place. So with that in mind, we’ve put a list of things together so that you can know what to consider when you’re planning your own funeral.
It’s a nice way to say goodbye to somebody that they love. There are certain traditions that can help friends and family members remember you in a fun and familiar way. So if you have any customs that you like, it’s time to write them down now. We would suggest very gently to stay away from releasing balloons at your funeral because these are not good for the environment and that’s not really something you want to be remembered by!
