Do you feel as though your skin isn’t as clear as it once was? Maybe you feel as though you need to eliminate blackheads once and for all but you don’t know how to go about doing this. Either way, if you are ready to make a positive change then this is the guide for you.
Improve your skin by making these simple changes:
Exfoliate Every Week
The top layer of your skin is primarily made up of dead skin cells. Regular exfoliation will help you to speed up the process of removing these cells, so you can expose the healthier brighter and smoother skin underneath. When the time comes for you to exfoliate, it helps to choose a product that suits your skin type.
Skin type
Now if you have very dry or bumpy skin then it is wise to find something that includes chemical and physical exfoliating properties. Presuming you are prone to acne on the other hand then avoid a physical exfoliant as this can be very abrasive and it’s the last thing you need.
Try a Glycolic Peel to Boost Collagen
Glycolic acid is great for boosting collagen in the body. It also helps the proteins which act as a glue, binding the skin cells together. Do you have acne or if you have dark spots then this is great. Over-the-counter peels are great for home use but if you go to a professional to get this kind of peel done then you will soon find that they use medically-graded products.
Drink More Water
Providing that you do not drink enough water then this will work against your skin. If possible you need to make sure that you are drinking at least 8 glasses every single day. Now if you want to help yourself here then it could be wise for you to invest in a water ionizer. A water ionizer will combat free radicals by using hydroxide ions, meaning that your skin will be smoother and softer as a result.
Try a Good Vitamin C Serum
Assuming that you want to get the most out of your current skincare routine then it is a good idea for you to invest in a good vitamin serum. Vitamin C is great for treating sun-damaged skin, not to mention that it can help you to get the bright and healthy look you’re going for. On the assumption that you have not invested in something like this before then now is the time for you to change that, as it could make a huge difference to your healthy routine.
Wear Sunscreen
Very important that you wear sunscreen every single day. Presuming you want to keep dark spots and skin cancer at bay then make sure that you are using a high-SPF product, before you go outside. This doesn’t matter what the weather is doing either because it will help to give you the protection you need. Should also be noted that sunscreen can help to moisturise your skin, which is always a good thing if you find that you suffer a lot from dryness.
